GoCab began in 2024 with a simple but powerful idea: create jobs and build a more fair and inclusive society by giving people access to the tools they need to earn a living.

Azamat, from Tajikistan, and Hendrick, from Cameroon, both had successful careers in investment banking in the UK and France. But after years in finance, they started questioning the deeper “why” behind just making money. That search for purpose led them to start GoCab — a company built on their shared dream of doing business with meaning.

GoCab became their way to put money to work for good — helping hard-working people support their families and improve their lives.

For both Azamat and Hendrick, this mission runs deep. It’s about creating Baraka — God’s blessing — by building something that gives opportunities to those who need it most. It’s a way to give back to the communities in emerging markets where they come from, and to do business in a way that aligns with their faith and values: fairness, support, and opportunity.

Today, GoCab is more than just a company. It’s a global team of over 100 people from countries like Peru, Egypt, Dagestan, Benin, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iraq, Burundi, Ukraine, Senegal, UAE, Tajikistan, Portugal, Nigeria, China, DRC, Morocco, Cameroon, Mexico, Guinea and the Philippines. We speak many languages and come from many walks of life — but we’re all united by one mission: to do good.
